Position Summary:
Tribeca Electrical Corp., a leading electrical contractor in New York City, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support our project management and office staff with day-to-day administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in construction administration, and a proactive attitude. Experience working with the NYC School Construction Authority (SCA) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to project managers, estimators, and office staff.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages. Track project schedules, budgets, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients for project updates and documentation. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.Assist with certified payroll reports and compliance documentationSupport invoice preparation, billing, and cost tracking.Manage data entry for project tracking systems and internal databasesHandle general office duties, such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, and ordering suppliesQualifications:
2+ years of experience in an administrative or project support role, preferably in construction or related industry
- Familiarity with NYC SCA requirements and documentation is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
