Summary
The Specialized Global Events Team crafts top tier experiences that introduce innovative products and demonstrate our core values that drive our passion for Pedaling the Planet Forward. The Global Event Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with onsite events that help drive the business and are engaging and authentic experiences for attendees. In addition, they will help support PR events to launch products to media that will have a lasting brand impact.
Essential Functions
- Work closely with the Global Events Team to coordinate in-person and virtual events that serve business and marketing objectives.
- Coordinate Rider Promise focused event logistics such as registration, attendee tracking, communications, travel plans, transportation, catering, team building activities, ride days, hotel room block management and internal staff scheduling.
- Support events with product ordering, NDA management, organizing and tracking shipping of event supplies and onsite attendance when needed.
- Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate with a variety of internal global teams such as creative, retail, social, marketing, product, Specialized onsite staff, market-level teammates and external resources.
- Uphold brand standards for Specialized Global Events that creates consistency across categories and while integrating across departments.
- Ability to work with external vendors and partners, both domestically and internationally
- Support budget logistics during the event concept phase through post-event.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (events, PR, communication, etc.)
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- Skilled in Atlassian Confluence and JIRA
- Knowledge of event software systems such as Typeform, Yapp, etc.
PAY
Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:
California Base Pay Range: ($44,782 - $73,890)
- At Specialized, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and will depend on your work experience, skills, certification, and location.
