About the Role:
Reporting to the Director, Global Digital Marketing & Media, this position will oversee media planning, buying, and optimization while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touch points.
In partnership with the Director of Global Digital Marketing and Media, develop and execute comprehensive media strategies that create seamless customer experiences across the entire marketing funnel. This position requires analytical and critical thinking to understand consumer behavior, category trends, and platform insights and translate that knowledge into effective media campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
As a key Global Digital Media Acceleration Hub member, you will partner with the Director and VP to execute high-impact brand campaigns leveraging the right mix of content and assets that support upper and mid-funnel objectives.
- Support and implement comprehensive full-funnel media strategies across digital, social, traditional, and channels to support brand and business objectives
- Create data-driven media plans for campaigns throughout the year, including annual, seasonal, and product launch activations
- Collaborate with retail media teams (beauty retailers like Sephora, Ulta, and Amazon) to maximize exposure and efficiency in joint campaigns
- Partner closely with creative, content, PR, and social teams to ensure media plans are integrated and executed cohesively across all touchpoints
- Guide development of channel-specific creative assets optimized for each stage of the marketing funnel
- Collaborate on beauty-specific content strategy, ensuring alignment with seasonal trends, product launches, and brand positioning
- Work with influencer marketing teams to integrate creator partnerships into the full-funnel approach
Lead performance media & reporting to drive e-retail growth and customer acquisition
- Define and manage performance media tactics to achieve commercial goals and KPIs for Olaplex
- Develop creative briefs and own asset management; partner closely with Organic Social and Influencer teams to brief in and amplify UGC assets
- Accountable for day-to-day communications and relationships with the media agency, media partners & key stakeholders internally
- Manage weekly & daily performance and optimizations, directly leading the media agency team with the Director
- Prioritize and implement testing pipeline to improve effectiveness and overall performance
- Track spend, assess return on investment, and adjust prioritization as needed to improve outcomes
- Prepare executive reports and contribute to weekly status updates, campaign recaps, and cross-departmental presentations, and provide key inputs into weekly and monthly leadership updates
- Act as the central point of contact for all marketing activities, facilitating collaboration between the internal teams and the media agency
Lead tracking of competitors, digital trends, and platform updates
- Leverage insights from search and social to inform performance marketing strategy
- Actively share digital trends and innovation within the competitive landscape and beyond
- Work closely with media partners and the media agency to identify new performance marketing features, channels & functionalities to drive leadership and performance for OLAPLEX
Foster relationships and learning internally and externally
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration at all levels. Primary teams include creative, e-commerce, marketing, and social teams
- Serve as a liaison and advocate with media and creative agencies and media partners
- Work directly with platform representatives to take advantage of new offerings betas, acquire ideas for building efficient scale, and solicit performance data for program optimization
- Act as the key point of contact within the team for any questions regarding media
Commitment to Operational Excellence
- Track progress and performance against KPIs, providing regular updates to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Manage the operational excellence of the media agency, driving on-time deliveries, high-performing campaigns, and optimization strategies to drive success
About You:
You are a high-flyer who thrives in the details and has an appetite and desire to learn, grow, and contribute to team goals. You can work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment because you are a dot-connector and get excited about working on multiple projects.
- 3-5+ years of full-funnel digital marketing experience, preferably with a brand that has DTC/e-commerce and wholesale distribution
- Beauty and/or Luxury experience is a plus
- Demonstrated experience developing high-impact brand campaigns
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Expertise in Programmatic Display, Paid Social & Paid Search required
- Proficient in paid media platforms (e.g., Ads Manager, Adwords) and Google Analytics (GA4 a plus)
- Familiar with Search, Shopping (PLA), Pmax, Advantage+, dynamic ads, Shops, and measurement studies (e.g., conversion lift)
- Strong knowledge of keyword bidding strategies, budget cap management, audience architecture and management, optimization tactics
- Required hands-on experience with media tracking & web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Lengow, Brightedge, Criteo, Criteo, TRIAD, and Amazon Advertising.
- Experience with tools such as CDP, Facebook Business Manager, DV360, Amazon DSP, would be preferred
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge, Proficiency with MS Office and Google Analytics

Our Total Rewards:
The annual base pay for this position is
$80,000 - $90,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
