About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Public Relations & Integrated Marketing to lead and execute strategic public relations initiatives that enhance our clients’ brand image, reputation, and overall presence in their respective markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all PR and Integrated Marketing activities, developing comprehensive communication plans, and managing media relations. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of Public Relations, marketing trends, a proven track record of successful integrated campaigns, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive local and regional public relations strategies that align with the client’s overall goals and objectives, with a focus on brand awareness.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage, press releases, and features in relevant publications. Act as the primary media contact and spokesperson for the company.
- Develop and manage 360 integrated marketing campaigns for Integrated Marketing clients, from ideation and planning to execution and analysis.
- Oversee all influencer relations and influencer marketing campaigns.
- Manage and train integrated marketing team; provide mentorship and professional development to foster an innovative environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration across channels, including digital, traditional, social, and events.
- Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
- Analyze and interpret data to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze campaign metrics and media coverage to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on PR performance.
Skills + Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in public relations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media relations.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong media contacts and relationships across various industries.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Experience in crisis management and high-pressure environments.
