Job Description:
Agency 21 (a21) is seeking a full-time Marketing team member who will serve as lead on multiple brand marketing accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and strategic planning skills and is a top-notch marketing project manager that is creative, analytical, and decision-making skills. This position offers tremendous growth opportunities with a full-service event management, sponsorship, and marketing agency that specializes in culinary, arts, sports, and entertainment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing & creative plans, including brand strategy for internal events and client projects.
- Coordinate the flow of projects, upload and manage projects in Monday.com, and communicate with key stakeholders
- Work with Brand Engagement, Sales & Event Operations on event initiatives and creative pitches.
- Partner with Digital and Social teams to ensure digital representation supports the overall project needs and assist with copywriting as needed including website and email campaign edits and implementation.
- Draft and edit press releases using project information from clients and/or Event Operations team.
- Source agency providers, consultants, freelancers, and other suppliers, needed to meet project deliverables on time and within budget.
- Help oversee ticketing and sales for select events
- Assist Director of Marketing in Managing and tracking marketing budgets
- Develop and maintain a keen understanding of the market space, including current and future market trends, products, and competitors
Skills + Qualifications Needed:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in event marketing, advertising, PR campaigns, print, or social media.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, or a related field.
- Experience with project management theory and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel to events to help support the onsite team over nights or weekends.
