Position: Production Assistant
Contract: Seasonal (April 21st-August 29th)

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Technical Director the Production Assistant is an hourly, entry level role that assists with various production needs during the operation of the Summer for the City 2025 summer festival. This work will take place in the public areas including Damrosch Park, Josie Robertson Plaza, Hearst Plaza, and Jaffe Drive.
What you’ll get to do here:
- Gain hands-on experience working at a large-scale music and arts festiva l
- A ssist the p roduction team with managing production inventory and assets
- Onsite coordination from April 202 5 through August 202 5
- Assist the Technical Direction team in site organization
- Cover the various working hours for the operation of the festival, including nights and weekends.
You’ll be a fit if you bring:
- A desire to gain hands -on experience in festival production operations
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- An interest in g aining experience with various departments
- Entry level comprehension of technical equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent attention to detail
- A valid driver’s license
