Tribeca’s Festival Communications team is looking for creative, hardworking individuals who have a strong interest in film publicity for the 2025 Tribeca Festival. Seasonal Publicists are the point of contact for film/creator publicists and are responsible for equipping them with the information, materials, and support they need to have a successful festival experience.

Seasonal Publicists are the point of contact for film/creator publicists and are responsible for equipping them with the information, materials, and support they need to have a successful festival experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary PR liaison for invited programs, including but not limited to feature and short films, TV, music, and podcasts.
- Work closely with the Communications team and PR agency on festival strategy, pitching, and outreach.
- Collaborate with the Artist Relations team to track and update contact information for filmmakers/creators and ensure that participants have a positive festival experience.
- Input and manage relevant project information in the Festival database.
- Create targeted media lists for special interest categories and regional outreach.
- Draft press materials.
- Coordinate media interviews.
- Track press and social coverage.
- Staff press events (red carpets, press lines, screenings, etc.) and serve as PR contact for film and/or creator teams.
SKILLS + REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years minimum entertainment PR experience
- Festival experience preferred, but not required
- Experience in talent relations, festival relations, working with creators
- Strong proficiencies in Outlook, Excel, Word, Google Drive, Slack, and similar is a must
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and departments both internal and external
- Willing to work both remote and onsite during the festival
SALARY: $1,000/$1,200 weekly
This position is seasonal, running from April through June
