The Role
The Operations Manager will ensure the night runs as smoothly as possible, with seamless service that meets the expectations and needs of our clients. Opening and closing protocols must be followed and maintained. Must be able to multitask and assist all departments of the venue. This person is responsible for ensuring the success of event productions by managing the technical, personnel and financial aspects. This position will report to the Executive Consultants and Director, Human Resources. This is not a remote position and is required to be on site at various venue and event locations. This position is required to work late nights into early mornings, every Friday and Saturday and other weekdays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer service principles and provide an excellent customer experience while connecting with customers in a meaningful way
- Identify opportunities, challenges and follow through on work activities to capitalize or resolve them.

- Lead, manage, and mentor others. Able to lead by example and develop the skills and capabilities of direct reports to ensure goals are met. Provides effective positive and constructive feedback
- Timely track, audit and submit accurate payroll and timekeeping records for various employees within legal compliance and regulations
- Develop cooperation and teamwork while participating in a group, working toward solutions which generally benefit all involved parties
- Utilize time, energy, and resources to manage priorities, stay on track, and achieve goals
- Protect assets and people by learning and implementing protocols and complying with guidelines
- Create custom in-house designs for merchandise accessories such as bags, belts, wallets, key chains, stickers, hats, blankets, lanyards, etc.
- Listen, comprehend and speak with employees and department heads about necessary issues/concerns
- Lead, support and execute interviews with speed and thorough assessment of each candidate
- Schedule staff per department, using our online scheduling system
- Ensure inventory is correct and place order accordingly
- Maintain aesthetics, cleanliness, repair and maintenance of venue
- Partner closely with special events team and spearhead as needed
- Maintain opening and closing procedures
- Conduct pre-shift meetings for all necessary departments
- Maintain excellent communication with all departments: door, box office, bottle service, etc.
- Train and provide support in onboarding team members, clients, vendors, and partners when needed
- All other projects and initiatives as identified
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as an operations manager in live events and/or club operations
- Degree in hospitality, business management, or marketing or related experience
- 6+ years of experience in people and team management
- Proficient in budgeting, reconciling, and analyzing event operations excel sheets
- Responsible for Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
- Approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, passionate, and committed to helping customer
- Flexible schedule with the willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent English comprehension (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work long hours
- Ability to work in loud/bright environments (lasers, flashing lights, etc.)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
- May work in drastic temperature climates
- Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD
