About Lomography
Lomography is more than just a company; it’s a movement, a community, and a way of seeing the world. Born from a passion for experimental and analog photography, Lomography was founded in 1992 as an arts initiative by a group of Vienna students who discovered the magic of analog imagery. Over the years, Lomography has transformed into a global brand with a mission to celebrate and preserve the unique, unpredictable beauty of film photography. Our products — from distinctive cameras and lenses to creative film types and accessories — are designed to inspire, provoke creativity, and encourage people to step away from the predictability of digital media and embrace the raw charm of analog.
Our global community of over 1 million “Lomographers” shares a deep-seated love for analog photography. Together, we connect through Lomography’s online platform, available in 17 languages, which hosts a vast gallery of over 17 million photos, an interactive magazine, LomoSchool educational platform, an online shop, and more tools to link creative minds worldwide. Lomography products can be found not only in photography stores, but in innovative spaces like concept stores, design shops, museums, universities, and lifestyle locations, including the MoMA Store, Fotografiska, and The Getty Museum. Looking further from the traditional B2B sales channel, we also offer an array of custom products for businesses to explore, all designed to ignite inspiration. Past clients of customization projects include the New York Times, Hard Rock Hotel, Coachella Music & Arts Festival, The White Stripes, and more.
With our headquarters in Vienna and offices in major cities worldwide including New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, Manila and Hong Kong, we are proud to foster a collaborative, global, and inclusive work environment that celebrates creativity and individuality.
