What We Need:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive planning recommendations and revenue. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand their data needs, gather and analyze relevant data, and present your findings in a clear and concise manner. Your expertise in data analysis and visualization tools will be essential to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimizing campaigns on behalf iHeartMedia’s marketing partners.
What You'll Do:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from various sources, including internal sources, external vendors, and market research. Clean, validate, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Apply statistical and analytical techniques to explore and interpret data, uncover trends, and identify correlations.
- Reporting and Visualization: Develop informative and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Use data visualization tools to create impactful charts, graphs, and other visuals that highlight key insights and trends.
- Business Problem Solving: Collaborate with different departments to understand their business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions. Apply analytical skills to solve complex business problems, optimize processes, and identify areas for improvement.
- Data Quality Management: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data by implementing data quality checks and validation processes. Maintain and update documentation related to data sources, transformations, and analysis.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and externally facing clients to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and present findings in a clear and concise manner. Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
What You'll Need:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role, preferably in a business setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques is desirable.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
