Overview
We’re seeking a hands-on, highly organized Event & Hospitality Manager with a strong background in Project Management to lead all programming and seasonal experiences at our farm property. This role blends creative event design with logistical execution, from curating workshops and animal encounters to producing live music nights and large-scale seasonal attractions. The ideal candidate can handle permitting, manage multiple timelines, coordinate vendors, and personally oversee the setup of immersive holiday experiences like a pumpkin patch, Christmas tree lot, or spring festival.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and manage a year-round calendar of farm events and seasonal experiences.
- Lead event projects from concept to completion, creating timelines, budgets, and task assignments.
- Handle all permitting and ensure compliance with safety and zoning regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise vendors, performers, staff, and volunteers.
- Oversee event set-up and breakdown — including hands-on holiday builds like pumpkin patch layouts, Christmas tree displays, and themed décor installations.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote events and create a consistent brand experience.
- Monitor event performance, attendance, and expenses, making recommendations for improvements.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local artisans, musicians, educators, and community groups.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event or project management, ideally in outdoor, farm, or hospitality settings.
- Must be good at excel and computer work
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of event permitting and local compliance is preferred
- Creative problem-solver with a willingness to handle physical, hands-on setup work.
- Comfortable working outdoors and around animals in various weather conditions.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
