The Role
Peachtree Entertainment is seeking a strategic and performance-focused Director of Festival Marketing to lead full-funnel marketing campaigns for our growing roster of outdoor music festivals. From budget management to digital media execution and creative oversight, this role is central to ensuring our festivals drive demand and deliver memorable, brand-aligned moments for fans across the country.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Leadership & Budget Management
- Develop and lead integrated festival marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales and audience growth.
- Own and optimize festival marketing budgets, monitoring pacing and performance daily to maximize ROAs.
Cross-Departmental & Artist Relations
- Serve as the day-to-day marketing liaison with artist teams, building strong, respectful relationships and ensuring smooth promotional alignment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with ticketing, fan experience and partnership teams to ensure marketing strategy supports broader festival goals.
Creative Direction & Content Oversight
- Oversee creative agency output, ensuring campaign assets align with brand standards, marketing objectives, and consumer trends.
- Direct the planning of all owned channel calendars, including social media, email, and SMS, with a sharp eye on engagement and conversion.
Media Strategy & Fan Engagement
- Lead traditional media buying efforts (OOH, radio, TV, print), while overseeing digital buys in partnership with media agencies, optimizing for reach and impact.
- Lead interactive fan activation campaigns through platforms like Tradable Bits to increase engagement and deepen fan relationships.
Team Development & Leadership
- Lead and mentor festival marketing manager(s), social media team and interns, setting clear expectations and providing growth opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to track performance metrics and share post-event recaps and learnings with senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of experience in entertainment, festival, or sports marketing (live events or promoter experience preferred).
- Strong background in budget management and data-driven performance marketing.
- Proven ability to lead campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media.
- Experience working directly with artist teams and managing creative agencies.
- Passion for live music and a drive to create best-in-class fan experiences.
