San Francisco Giants Camps in the Bay Area is looking to hire Summer Camp Counselors and Coaches to make a three to ten week commitment to make a positive difference in the lives of our youth while developing in them a love for the traditional sports, games, and recreational activities that are so formative for children. Giants Summer Camps is looking for seasonal summer camp counselors in the Bay Area who are energetic, positive, and who love to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions - all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability.
We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball summer camps - from Coach to Site Director - and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13. We know with certainty that our excellent coaches play a key role in making our camps so successful and instilling life lessons that sports are great at teaching.

We are looking for summer camp counselors who:
- Have experience working with children ages 4-13
- Have experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
- Have a passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way
- Are able to connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting
- Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude
- Are dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there, no matter what.
- Know how to have a lot of fun!!
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe camp environment for all summer camp campers
- Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp
- Execute San Francisco Giants Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
- Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
- Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from
- Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Giants Baseball Camps stellar reputation
Qualifications for all summer camp coaching positions:
- Be prepared to make a commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 3-5 week commitment
- Giants Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 9, 2025 to August 15, 2025
- Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
- Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
- Pay is based on skill level and experience

Our Interview Process:

Compensation:
Pay is based on skill level and experience.
- Professional Educator: $22.00/hour
- Please note you must have at least 1 school year of paid teaching experience and/or provide proof of teaching certification in order to be eligible for this hourly wage.
- College Student/Recent Graduate:$18.67/hour
