Are you passionate about cultural heritage and event planning? Join the Arab Community Center for Integration Services (ACCIS) as the Project Manager for the Arab American Heritage Festival to be hosted on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at La Sierra Community Center in Carmichael, CA!
As the Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination and execution of this vibrant celebration of Arab culture within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. You will also effectively monitor and present project updates to the ACCIS Board of Directors project team members.
The event will be featuring music, dance, art, food, and community activities. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by fostering cultural pride and building community connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee festival planning and timeline, including logistics, permits, and budgets.
- Coordinate with vendors, performers, and volunteers.
- Manage marketing efforts and event-day operations.
- Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
Qualifications
- Experience in event management or project coordination.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Passion for cultural events and community engagement.
