Role Overview
The Marketing Director is responsible for the strategic leadership of all marketing and branding initiatives across the Daydream State portfolio. This role focuses on driving revenue growth for the restaurant group, overseeing festival and venue marketing, managing the marketing team, and exploring new business development opportunities.

· Festival & Venue Marketing: 35% (Festival 20%, Venues 15%)

Key Responsibilities1. Restaurant Group Marketing Leadership (40% Focus)
· Direct the marketing strategy for all Daydream State restaurant properties, including Lost Lake Cafe, The Comet Tavern, The Alpine Diner, and Big Marios Pizza
· Lead revenue growth initiatives such as promotions, events, delivery/takeout services, and franchise expansion
· Oversee the digital presence of the restaurant brands, including website optimization, online ordering, review management, SEO, and social media
· Manage key relationships with food media, influencers, delivery platforms, and community organizations
· Track and analyze restaurant performance data, including sales, promotion effectiveness, customer acquisition, and market trends
2. Festival & Venue Marketing Leadership (35% Focus)
A. Festival Marketing Strategic Direction (25%)
· Partner with the Music Marketing Manager to develop the annual Capitol Hill Block Party (CHBP) marketing strategy and budget
· Provide strategic oversight and review campaign performance, resource allocation, partner relationships, and content direction for the CHBP festival
B. Venue Marketing Oversight (10%)
· Collaborate with the Music Marketing Manager on Neumos and Barboza venue marketing calendars, content strategies, partner relationships, audience development, and performance metrics
3. Team Leadership & Management (20% Focus)
· Direct the marketing team's operations, including weekly meetings, performance reviews, professional development, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
· Facilitate cross-departmental coordination between marketing, creative, operations, sales, and customer service teams
4. Business Development (5% Focus)
· Explore opportunities to grow Daydream State's agency services, including identifying target clients, developing service packages, and establishing pricing structures

· Primary focus: Festival marketing ramp-up (35%)

· Primary focus: Festival execution and analysis (20%)
· Secondary focus: Restaurant marketing (50%)

· Primary focus: Restaurant marketing/holiday season (65%)

Required Skills & Experience
· 7+ years of marketing experience, with a significant focus on the restaurant/hospitality industry
· Proven track record of driving revenue growth in the hospitality sector
· Expertise in multi-location restaurant marketing and digital marketing/analytics
· Festival or large-scale event marketing experience
· History of successful team leadership and cross-functional collaboration
· Understanding of the music and entertainment industry
· Financial acumen and budget management skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
· Experience with agency or client services
